studioplusthree to design the Nicholson Galleries at University of Sydney's new Chau Chak Wing Museum

The new Chau Chak Wing Museum at The University of Sydney will be a new state-of-the-art museum, bringing together the Macleay, Nicholson and University Art collections under one roof. The three collections, previously located separately on the campus, will be combined into an ambitious new Museum, designed by architects Johnson Pilton Walker.

studioplusthree have won the commission to design the interior fitout for the Nicholson Galleries, within the new Museum, which will house the university’s collection of antiquities from Ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt.
